This practice was created with a simple belief at its core: therapy should work with your brain, not against it. This practice exists to do things differently.
We move away from traditional, rigid neurotypical frameworks and instead offer neurodiversity-affirming therapy that is flexible, collaborative, and tailored to you. There is no “one-size-fits-all” here, your therapy is shaped around your needs, your communication style, your sensory preferences, and your goals.
Whether you’re seeking understanding, support, or a space where you don’t have to mask or explain yourself, you are welcome here.
What you will find with us:
-
A space where you can show up as you are
-
Therapy that adapts to you, not the other way around
-
Deep understanding of Autism, ADHD, and AuDHD experiences
-
Compassionate, informed, and practical support
For many neurodivergent people, therapy hasn’t always felt safe or helpful. If that’s been your experience, you’re not alone and it doesn’t have to stay that way.
This is a space where you can be understood, supported, and met with both professional expertise and genuine empathy.

Why Choose NeuroBalance Therapies
Typical therapy frameworks can be reductive, rigid, and minimising for neurodiverse people. This practice was created with a simple belief at its core: therapy should work with your brain, not against it.
This is why I created NeuroBalance Therapies. I am a Counsellor and Psychotherapist, with almost a decade of experience specialising in Neurodiversity. But my understanding isn’t only professional, it’s personal. I have lived experiences of AuDHD, which means I know firsthand how often traditional approaches can feel misaligned, invalidated, or simply not built for the way we think and experience the world.
Over the years, I’ve worked extensively within neurodiversity services, including running a dedicated clinic where I was part of both the diagnostic and therapeutic teams. This has given me a deep understanding of the full journey, from assessment through to ongoing support and the gaps that many people face along the way.
Alongside my clinical work, I consult as a specialist for major mental health organisations and autism charities, helping shape more inclusive and effective ways of supporting neurodivergent individuals. I also specialise in neurodiverse couples therapy and am a passionate researcher, looking at the intersectionality of neurodiversity, race, and gender.
